As you love your selfie, do not become self-absorbed with your ‘great’ looks. Assist the man in the mirror to make that change by allowing God to lead you to become your best selfie. Involve yourself in good works in the church and community. Know that God loves you and has a plan for you.
Trust God – “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Use Your Skill Set - One great way to see what God has planned for your life is to look at the skills that you have been blessed with. In Exodus 35:30-35, Moses spoke to Israel about specific men with specific skills that they were given by God to use for His glory.
Be in prayer - (1 John 5:14-15) When you pray that “God’s will be done” in your life, God “will” always guide your next step in His plan. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says to, “pray without ceasing.” While trusting in God to lead us, it is important that we stay in contact with him.
Thank you for your participation today and be encouraged to stay committed in your walk with the Lord. We know that God’s will for believers is to grow in grace and knowledge, as he leads us to fulfill His purpose for our lives. Do well in life, not for recognition from man, but because Father God created His masterpiece to do so.
Be Blessed,
Maxine Jackson
